Personal data

Web access: When accessing web pages, your web browser transmits personal data, for example your IP address, which is technically necessary for the retrieval and transmission. In addition, your browser may transmit further information with each request to my server, for example information about your operating system or your web browser, which is not necessary for a query of my web pages and will not be evaluated. These data, especially the IP address, are personal data, because they can be used to identify you.

Gemini access: You can minimize the transmitted personal data even more by accessing these pages via the Gemini protocol and a Gemini browser instead of using a normal web browser. In this case, only your IP address is received, no other data. The Gemini protocol was developed with privacy in mind. All access with a Gemini browser is always encrypted.

Use of your data

My server does not store any of the above browser data, which is equivalent to zero storage time or immediate deletion. The use of your IP address is a technically necessary part of the data transmission and takes place for the purpose and in my legitimate interest as a legal basis to provide you with this website with its content on various topics that I find worth sharing. With my means, I am not able to derive personal information from your IP address.
